Cocoa Nti Campaign at Gambia No. 1
AMG as part of it core values continually engages and sensitizes farmers across cocoa growing areas in the country. The campaign this time round focused on the Goaso district , one of the biggest cocoa growing areas in Ghana . The campaign aimed at educating about 4000 cocoa farmers on the use of cocoa nti cocoa fertilizer. Farmers were educated on the best ways to apply the fertilizer as well as its importance to the crop.
Secondly, farmers were made to understand the competitive advantage cocoa nti has over other fertilizers on the market . The plant nutrients in cocoa nti and it importance were explained to the farmers understanding. The campaign does not only focus on cocoa nti but with the expertise of AMG’s crop nutritionist, farmers were educated on good agricultural practices to improve yield
