USAGE OF youthful days determine the rate and intensity of succes a person achieves in life, is a strong position the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Agricultural Manufacturing Group (AMG) holds to the core.
AMG is a leading fertilizer manufacturing and distribution entity in Ghana headquartered in Accra.
Mr Ernest Appiah believes how well a person utilises his/her youthful days decide the furure the person will have.
“If you fail to focus on activities that will create wealth for you in your youthful days, your future may likely suffer a jolt” the AMG CEO averred.
Mr Appiah thus, entreated the youth, particularly, Ghanaian youth to shun life derailing tebdencies such as alcoholism, illicit drug usage and womanizing in their youthful days.
“These behaviours apart fron affecting ones finances in a bad way, also affects ones wellbeing and existence” the accomplished entrepreneur further expatiated.
Speaking as a key note speaker at a business incubation summit at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) on Wednesday, the AMG CEO implored the youth to embrace the spirit of entrepreneurship at their early stage.
He stressed the importance of creativity, noting that one cannot be a successful entrepreneur without the acumen of creativity.
“Discipline, covetousness, never-give-up spirit and dedication to hard work are the major ingredients, one needs to excel in his/her entrepreneurship journey” Mr Appiah further observed.
Continuing, the AMG CEO challenged the youth to develop positive mindset that they will constitute the next batch of entrepreneurs in the country whose works would be felt worldwide.
“Entrepreneurship is not a right of ownership for a selected few, but for anybody who can uphold and religiously pursue its principles” the acclaimed entrepreneur stated.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity, AMG has built a business incubation center for UGBS which will soon be commissioned.
The center was built to provide a viable platform for students of the school to nurture their sense of entrepreneurship whilst in school for them to be the game changers in their respective localities.
