A new product, now being introduced into the Ghanaian market, holds the promise of significantly increasing the productivity of the country’s cocoa farmers and the yields they achieve. This new fertilizer is radically different from existing fertilizers available to Ghanaian farmers.  Unlike conventional fertilizers, Cocoa Nti has been specially designed to generate more revenue for the cocoa farmer by inducing the Cocoa tree itself to fully realize its potential yield, regardless of all external conditions.

The introduction of this new fertilizer, known as Cocoa Nti, is coming at a most crucial time when Ghana’s cocoa trees are suffering the debilitating effects of aging, which indeed is persuading COCOBOD, the state run institution charged with responsibility for regulating, supervising, promoting and facilitating cocoa production, distribution and sales to engage in a long term programme of replanting the country’s cocoa trees to replace old ones now suffering declining yields with new ones that generate much higher yields. However, the problem is that Ghana can ill-afford the inevitable sharp fall in cocoa production during the intervening years before the newly planted trees reach maturity.

The new Cocoa Nti fertilizer gets around this problem by ensuring that the aging trees deliver optimal yields, even during their latter years, and this will ensure the maintenance of Ghana’s national production levels during the years required for newly planted cocoa trees top reach maturity; and when this does eventually happen, the combination of relatively young trees and the use of Cocoa Nti fertilizer will guarantee the highest yields achieved so far in the long history of cocoa production world wide, which in turn will generate significantly higher national cocoa production levels than ever before.

To achieve this result, Cocoa Nti has been designed to revive old cocoa trees with the incorporation of Nitrate Nitrogen which tends to feed the plant giving it a new life and thereby sustaining the production levels of cocoa trees in old cocoa farms that otherwise would suffer continuously declining production.

Crucially Cocoa Nti produces high quality pods, heavier and bigger beans with the introduction of highly soluble Calcium and Boron.

Cocoa Nti will also reduce the incidence of fungal diseases by strengthening and maintaining the integrity of the cell walls of the Cocoa Pod which will prevent the spread of such diseases, which hitherto have quickly decimated cocoa farms by speading rapidly from tree to tree, therefore forcing the deliberate destruction of infected trees – at  incalculable cost to their owners – to stop that spread. Thus, with the application of Cocoa Nti, the annual expenditure of cocoa farm owners and the State itself, which supports them, on fungicides and other disease resisting chemicals will be cut down drastically, even as the need to deliberately destroy large portions of cocoa farms during times of disease, will be eliminated. Instead, all dying twigs and branches will be revitalized and set up for flower production and fruit set.

In doing all these things, Cocoa Nti will effectively increase the productive life span of cocoa trees and ensure the sustainability of healthier and highly productive cocoa farms.

Cocoa farmers now have the unique opportunity to discover their cocoa farms true potential this season by applying Cocoa Nti, the revolutionary new100% Cocoa Fertilizer. The guaranteed result will be increased cocoa yields and consequent increased income for up to 8OO, OOO households nationwide who depend on cocoa farming for their incomes; and indeed a better Ghanaian economy as a whole, made possible by the dramatically improved performance of its most important export revenue earning economic sector.
